Healing Through Art: A Mural of Hope and Resilience at PA Hospital Brisbane

Healing Through Art: A Mural of Hope and Resilience at PA Hospital Brisbane

Over the past few days, I have had the privilege of painting a mural for the Geriatric Rehabilitation Unit (Garu) at Princess Alexandra Hospital. It has been an incredible experience meeting the staff, who are incredibly humble, kind, and wonderful people. I have a deep appreciation for the work they do, as it is something I could never do myself.

The mural depicts the theme of healing and caring for oneself and others. It serves as a reminder to learn how to take care of oneself and others to become a better person mentally, physically, and emotionally.

The mural depicts people from all over SEQ coming to the Hospital, as well as scenes of the Brisbane River and Norman Creek, and the lush greens of Brisbane’s landscape.

A huge thank you to Aaron and everyone involved!
